If you are an individual, a business or an industry stakeholder interested in helping during this crisis, we encourage you to contact us on [email protected] and describe your skills, location and the time you are available to help or donate.
We aim to work together in this period of uncertainty to help where we can with advice, support, morale and also to use this time to be creative and inspire each other. If you have a story to share about how you’re managing through the virus, email [email protected] to tell us more.
We’ve been talking directly to our community throughout the ongoing crisis. Understandably, everyone is worried about their personal and loved ones health, as well as their job security and personal finances. The challenge we face is unprecedented in our lifetime – but there’s a lot we can do to help each other.
SBID have made strategic changes to how we operate based on feedback we have received. We are focused on regenerating the industry when the crisis has ended. We won’t bombard you with thinly veiled self promotional communications, in fact, we have reduced our volume of public postings and are instead ensuring we send relevant and direct advice to our members and community personally.
We are constantly reviewing, adapting and making changes to put to good use what we have realised during this challenging time. Some of those immediate changes include ways we’re helping our members, qualifying businesses, employees and freelance workers take advantage of government support on offer.
Stay safe, be kind and keep working.
