To qualify for this competition, participants must be currently enrolled on a degree course for Architecture or Interior Design in Ukraine. Students who graduated their degree no more than 2 years ago are also eligible to enter.
You must produce a project according the category’s allocated competitive task. The competitive tasks can be downloaded on the official SBID website, here. The completed entry can then be submitted by clicking ‘Submit a Completed Task’ on the entry page, here.

You can submit one entry per category. You can enter into more than one category if applicable.
Submission as a collective entry is possible on condition that if the project wins, only one member (representative) of the group will receive the winning prizes and be eligible to attend the UK internship.

No. While performing the task, you must follow the plan and technical spec for the premises that is outlined in the official brief provided by the SBID. To view categories and download the official competitive tasks, click here.
Finalists will be announced on 14th February 2020. The Award Ceremony will take place on 19th March 2020.
The winners in each category will have the possibility to start practice in leading design studios in Ukraine. The overall winner will receive a 6 month, all expenses paid internship with top UK design firm, Jestico and Whiles.
All winners will also receive honorary SBID Associate Membership for a year and have the opportunity to be features in the SBID interior design magazine, eSociety.
No, it is completely free to enter and participate in this competition. You just need to download the competitive task, complete your project entry and then submit.
