Gabriel Scott designs and produces chic and contemporary furniture and lighting fixtures. All Gabriel Scott pieces are handmade in their Montreal production studio where young visionaries work together alongside an in-house team of industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturers to create and oversee each piece from inception to production. Gabriel Scott’s 30-thousand square-foot studio is located in Montreal’s historically rich Garment District, a neighborhood that pioneered Canadian fashion and design.

Gabriel Scott was founded in Montreal, Canada in 2012. Scott Richler was working as an architect and was often tasked with specifying high-end custom furniture for clients. He realised there was a market for bespoke, contemporary and customisable furniture and lighting fixtures crafted using a holistic approach that would be specifically aimed at designers and architects who need control over every detail of a building’s design.

A riot of different styles offer an eclectic resource of unique pieces. From casual and ultra-slouchy to sleek urban living, from rugged and industrial to vintage-inspired glamour, a full spectrum is covered. The versatile upholstery collection spans a wide array of finishes, from the most extreme hand-distressed leathers to sumptuously rich velvets and natural veg-dyed linens, with tables and cabinetry in marble, acrylic, industrial-looking metals and reclaimed timber.

Every Timothy Oulton piece is meticulously made by hand using time-honoured techniques such as hand-carving, traditional joinery and hand-tufting. Lots of charming tales start with a tiny workshop that eventually turns into a revolutionary firm – but for Tondelli this is not simply a fairytale, it’s a true story.

In 1954, Tondelli senior started working on bespoke pieces for those Italian families in pursuit of a fresh, exquisite look, all of their own. And that is how, from day one, Tondelli became widely known for using the most beautiful varieties of wood to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

“Because objects and experiences can affect us. Because what we own represents who we are and what we will pass on as our heritage. Because we live in the moment and aspire for the better. Because making art is an interpretation and a dream expression.” – Julien Bonzom
Heritier is a multidisciplinary design practice founded by French designer Julien Bonzom.
Julien was born and grew up in the South of France, and studied architecture, art and joinery at the Institute Europeen de Formation des Compagnonsdu Tour de France (IEF CTF) - a unique school led by the best French craftsmen. Before his 16th birthday, he participated in several prestigious competitions and won the Meilleur Apprenti de France (MAF; Best Apprentice in France). This gave Julien the opportunity to work with some of the best leading brands from a young age and discover the world before he settled in London, UK to start his own practice.
Today, the studio operates at the intersection of multiple disciplines from furniture, horology, art and immersive experience. The studio specialises in design and engineering, as well as manufacturing and precise execution of functional and artistic forms.
Julien leads the studio and continues to be involved in the design process. His passion for creating and competition still drives him today. As well as this, he loves sharing the making journey with clients as part of a talented and ever-growing team. He is in a perpetual search for something different and takes the entire team to the far corners of the world in search for almost forgotten craft techniques or promising young talent. The process of the studios’ work is not simply about creating furniture, clocks and art; it is about creating harmonies of objects that appeal to the senses. For beauty is cultivated from within the process of making itself and its empathy towards people.

We explore design to improve the relationship between people and spaces. We frame everything—our soft, essential design sensibility, our direct and personalized service, our organizational and corporate policies, our global brand identity—in terms of human values.

Our design approach carefully considers every part of the product development process—from design to production to long-term impact— bringing function, aesthetic, detail together in elegant resolution.
We distinguish ourselves with innovative products as well as with an international approach.

Our most recent collections show growing attention to sustainability, thanks to processes favouring recycling and easy disassembly of materials, minimizing the use of glue to assemble components and selecting FSC-certified woods.

Our partnerships with international designers help define our identity, drawing inspiration from all over the world to elaborate an original synthesis.

Christopher and Nicola Cox are both sculptors and talented artisans. They first began working together in the mid 1990’s, bonding over a shared love of the decorative arts. In 2005 they founded the Cox London atelier.

Today they personally oversee the production of every piece they design, leading an in-house team of specialist technicians in their exciting London studio and workshops.

Christopher and Nicola Cox continue to explore the boundaries of materials: bronze; silver; wrought iron; blown glass and stone. Their enduring ambition is to create pieces of beauty and intrigue that will continue to stand the test of time.
