My design journey started watching the movie BIG. I looked at that NY Loft with everything Tom Hank’s character needed in a huge space and it just hit me; the walls around me should go and I should be able to ride a BMX in MY space. We still follow this childhood ethos to some degree. It’s time to put aside current thinking and get our lifestyle space solution design on. Let’s remove cabinets from kitchens and push the boundaries right through the walls. Walk-in larders, barista sections, cook stations; this should be different! We love to draw on tribal food storage, prep and cooking techniques, then smash it together with 2021 technology and lifestyle aspirations and see what comes out of the design pot. I want to smile while I shower; let’s test and explode the way we clean our bodies. I want to leave the bathroom feeling like a Lamborghini. Smile to sleep, wake to wonder.
