Dornbracht showcases several examples of how a wide variety of materials can be used to create spectacular individual pieces. Tara is similarly original with its velvet and gold body. The elegant contrast between matte and polished surfaces creates a strong visual appeal and a high level of sensory ambivalence. CYO, framed in leather, is equally inspiring: skilfully crafted, the fitting combines opulence and sophistication, with the material symbolising a sense of style and timeless luxury. For Vaia, with a finish made from recycled eggshells, mosaics are put together according to the customer’s wishes – creating a direct connection to nature.
