The Get me 2 the Top student competition was developed to find innovative and talented first and second year students, offering them the opportunity to develop key relationships and give them the tools and advice they need to kick-start their careers whilst studying.
The competition is open to first and second year undergraduate students who are currently studying an architecture, interior design, interior architecture or related design course at degree level within the UK.
Previously, Design Practice’s 1.61 London and Crawford Partnerships offered 3 month internships at their practices for the 2 category winners. Students were asked to submit the end of year project which they have completed as part of their studies into the appropriate interior design category; Residential Design or Public Space Design, using the submission template and form provided.
Judges include Hospitality Designer, Hans Galutera, Healthcare Interior Designer, Diana Cellela and SBID founder and Interior Designer, Dr Vanessa Brady, OBE. The judges will be looking for qualities such as originality of expression, individualism, creative use of materials and presentation.
The next edition of Get me 2 the Top is due to launch in 2021.
