Cosentino, global leader in producing and distributing sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, introduces Dekton® Pietra Edition, a modern and innovative collection inspired by iconic Mediterranean stones. The collection is a continuation of the highly successful 2023 launch of Dekton® Pietra Kode – the vision of renowned designer and architect Daniel Germani. New Pietra Kode designs are now available in the UK.
The ultracompact Dekton® Pietra Edition collection adapts the beauty and detail of traditional stones such as Travertine, Piasentina, Ceppo Di Gré, and Campaspero, with enhanced realism and durability to meet the demands of today’s architecture and interior design aspirations.
“Pietra Edition is the new journey to the origin of timeless and Mediterranean architecture already started with Pietra Kode,” said Daniel Germani. “I am proud to continue my collaboration with Cosentino to bring the designs of Pietra Edition to designers, architects, and homeowners as a surface that is both timeless and innovative.”
Thanks to Dekton’s innovative TSP technology, the carbon-neutral Dekton® Pietra Edition collection introduces a technological layer to iconic natural stones, with six serene designs that bring a warmth and modern elegance to any indoor or outdoor project. The collection pays homage to the enduring elegance of Mediterranean natural stones while elevating their design, features, and sensorial perception, creating spaces full of luminosity, modernity and simplicity.
– Trevi’s cream base, marked by a parallel pattern of irregular veins in shades of gray and blue, is inspired by the classic beauty of Roman silver Travertine.
– Nebu recreates the depth of Roman Travertine, and its beautiful irregularities bring a unique timeless design to any space.
– Adia provides a versatile finish with a silky appearance. Its cream tone and soft white lines make any design project extraordinary.
– Ava is inspired by Ceppo di Gré, the original stone from the Lombardy region that stands out for its rough appearance, but in a warmer design not found in nature, perfect for Mediterranean style design.
– Polar reveals beautiful irregularities from the Spanish stone Campaspero, reinterpreted in a unique hyper-realistic pattern that combines an irregular base in beige tones with grayish and cream veins, small inlays, and fossils.
– Sandik provides the traditional elegance of Campaspero in a softer finish, with a cream background and a subtle haze of gray tones, that performs extremely well for outdoor applications.

In collaboration with FORMAFANTASMA, Silestone by Cosentino presents EARTHIC® LAB, a sustainability sub-brand that heralds a new generation of surfaces for the home. Conceived jointly with the renowned research-based design duo, the project challenges the conventional approach to design, prioritising production processes over mere aesthetic appeal.
Launching at Fuorisalone 2024 in Milan’s iconic Teatro Gerolamo, EARTHIC® LAB took visitors on a transformative journey, showcasing the new EARTHIC® surfaces whilst introducing a new sustainable approach to surface design using recycled, reused and advanced raw materials.
“The aim of EARTHIC was to establish a surface project as well as a sub-brand within Cosentino that could become a research platform to investigate how the company could make their processes more sustainable. We did not start from an aesthetic but from the idea of improving the sustainable components within the surface. Our collaboration with Cosentino is exactly this: an attempt to design a product from the inside out where the aesthetic choices also correspond to ethical and sustainable choices. Decision making from this perspective is what is relevant for design today at large”. – Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin from FormaFantasma
EARTHIC® LAB received a Special Mention in the Technology category at the Fuorisalone Awards 2024 for its innovation by restoring a balance between humans and their environment – alongside the use of technology in protecting the planet. This award marks a major milestone for the brand, confirming its journey towards sustain ability and environmental responsibility.
EARTHIC® by Silestone®XM is a capsule collection of three unique sustainable stone surfaces. EARTHIC® combines recycled PET, discarded Dekton fragments and post-industrial glass, alongside pioneering bio-resin derived from used cooking oil. Thanks to HybriQ+® technology, these colours are produced with 100% renewable electrical energy and 99% recycled water. EARTHIC® is the first collection to be made with Silestone XM – surfaces containing a maximum silica content of 10%.
By working with recycled and reclaimed materials, these components come together to create something extraordinary – with the aim to significantly decrease the extraction of raw materials, C02 emissions and soil erosion.
– FFROM 01 is a grey surface speckled with white recycled PET fragments creating a subtle yet intricate pattern that draws the eye and adds depth to the composition. The dominance of grey tones evokes a sense of calmness and simplicity that creates a subdued and pared back atmosphere. – FFROM 02 features a darker grey base elegantly punctuated with white speckled accents, creating subtle and visually attractive contrast. Its darker tone has a sense of modernity and minimalism, broken by the light specks on the surface that make the surface feel serene and beautiful with its simplicity. – FFROM 03 is a mesmerising yet elegant and intricate surface, with recycled PET scattered across the dark surface in a way that makes it feel reminiscent of the night sky or a geological specimen. The surface’s pattern brings a sense of movement and variability to interiors comparable to a piece of abstract art, to imbue spaces with depth and character.
As one of the first to feature fluted tiles, Cosentino continues to bring cutting-edge and sustainable solutions to the world of design.
Cosentino, the global leading company in the production of sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, announces Dekton® Ukiyo, a new textured collection that features linear fluting and offers livable luxury with the durability of Dekton®. Created in collaboration with the internationally recognised high-end interior and product designer, Claudia Afshar, the collection is available in ready-to-install fluted tiles, one of the first offerings of its kind in the industry. Its textures bring distinctive depth and dimension to any space, be it residential or commercial.
Dekton® Ukiyo is inspired by Japanese and contemporary design and celebrates the art of minimalism and embracing the present. Ukiyo means to “live in the moment” and the Dekton® collection is designed to awaken the senses and evoke a feeling of wellness by achieving a beautiful, calm state in the space. It embodies a rich palette of sensations, showcasing geometric yet smooth structure that creates harmonious designs both inside and outside.
“Playing with texture is timeless, and it is so important in all materials, not just fabric” said Claudia Afshar. “I have always been inspired by the materials found in nature and making the spaces I design as comfortable, warm and authentic as possible. Ukiyo is calming yet simplistic, and the colourways and fluting are romantic, but also contemporary and masculine to achieve balance.”
Especially designed for vertical cladding application, Dekton® Ukiyo will be available in matte finish and two fluting options: GV2 with groves set 25 mm apart and measure 5mm wide and 3 mm deep; and GV3 with groves set 11 mm apart and are 4mm wide and deep. Both will come in tile size 17.7 inches by 118 inches (450 mm x 3000 mm). To launch the Ukiyo offering, Afshar hand-selected five existing Dekton® colourways: Bromo, Kreta, Nacre, Umber, and Rem to provide a comprehensive colour palette to work independently and together.
Dekton® products are full life cycle carbon neutral and were selected for the collection due to their sustainable properties and high-performance capabilities. Dekton® Ukiyo is ideal for a virtually limitless range of vertical applications ranging from facades and fireplaces to custom furniture and so much more.
“Every day I strive to think outside the box in order to create something unique, yet special for each project. This collaboration offers just that and I am so thankful to the entire Cosentino team for bringing this collection to the market” said Afshar.
– Bromo offers a dark grey shade, inspired by homogeneous metamorphic rocks such as slate. Subtle, faded graphics, a carefully-created texture and a natural aesthetic define this evocative colour, perfect for any type of environment. – Kreta is inspired by classic cement floors, with calm movement. The design is even and controlled, although it provides darker or lighter areas depending on the density of the pattern. Its matte texture and grey tone combine with any type of material and make it suitable for diverse applications. – Nacre boasts movement that engages all senses – the trowel marks that bring the colour to life, the subtle interplay of light and shadow that accompanies every inch of the design. The touch delights with a silky finish as the fingers run over the different reliefs and scattered gradients. A pleasure for its high decorative and emotional value. – Umber features a timeless, rebellious colour with its own personality and a special charisma. The terracotta is warm and very attached to the Earth and closely connected to nature. – Rem provides intricate design, with brown and grey veining and hints of gold. Its fine veining under a subtle grain offers the ultimate in natural sensitivity.

Cosentino introduces Le Chic new collection, an advanced design proposal that recovers the beauty of veined patterns to show all the elegance and sophistication of Silestone®. Introducing six new designs, Silestone® Le Chic features patterns with expressive veins and metallic accents that stand out against neutral backdrops like cream or deep blues and blacks, obtaining designs full of depth.
Cosentino Group, global leader in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design presents Le Chic, the latest release from Silestone® by Cosentino.
“Elegance,” said of a work is something that is distinguished by a minimalist simplicity that does not impede precision and excellence. For its part, it’s said that something is “refined” when it’s perfected, and it becomes finer and purer. Both definitions are embodied in Le Chic, from Silestone® by Cosentino. After conquering urban spaces with modern aesthetics with Urban Crush series, Le Chic shows all the elegance and sophistication of Silestone®.
This new Silestone® series redefines a timeless classic. A step forward in veined-patterned surfacing with six design proposals that offers the charm of Victorian and Parisian spaces, speaking to nostalgia with a modern yet timeless execution. Le Chic collection is an elegant and sophisticated offering at the intersection of fashion and design. The patterns feature expressive veins and metallic accents that stand out against neutral backdrops like cream or deep blues and blacks, obtaining designs full of depth.
The refinement flourishes from the ground of innovation and sustainability. Le Chic represents advancement in Cosentino’s surface manufacturing, as the detailed veining requires an all-new system of design. The intricate, interlocking veins are made possible by the brand’s new molding system, giving life to particles and minerals of a wide range of sizes and creating an incredible new texture.
The real sustainability of this collection comes from Cosentino’s patented HybriQ+® technology. Silestone® Le Chic is manufactured using 99% reused water and 100% renewable energy, and incorporating a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials in its composition, that also has less than 40% of silica.
Le Chic collection is composed of six designs: Parisien Blue, Eclectic Pearl, Versailles Ivory, Victorian Silver, Bohemian Flame and Romantic Ash.
Parisien Blue Pure nostalgia for the French capital. Boasts a deep bluish tone with strong personality and powerful character. Inspired by the shades seen in famous Imperial Roman stones, combined with fine veins in ochre tones.
Eclectic Pearl One of the best examples of Le Chic essence. Classic and modern perfect fusion. Flowing streams of delicate tones incrusted with grains like diamonds on jewelry. Eclectic Pearl hypnotizes with delicate veining, texture, and metallic accents across the whole surface.
Versailles Ivory The warmest tone of the collection. Very subtle two-toned marbling in the background with gradient effects mesmerize with the flickering lights of its golden sparkle. Versailles Ivory exudes luxury and elegance, reminiscent of the exuberance of the Palace of Versailles.
Victorian Silver Soft and subtle two-toned marbling in the background, with gradient effects and great depth. The cool background tone blends with its silver and dark grey veins to create an elegant colour that fits seamlessly with warm and cold tones.
Bohemian Flame This colour presents subtle sinuous veins with metallic inlays in copper shades. The movement of the golden flows of lava that generate scars on volcanic soil inspires it. It’s reminiscent of the calmly moving golden flame of candles accentuating tiny metallic pieces.
Romantic Ash Another example of Le Chic’s visual excellence. Large rivers and incrustations of grains in various sizes awaken memories of a milky way visible on a clear starry sky. The accent of blue strengthens the depth of Romantic Ash.
The global leader in producing and distributing innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, the Cosentino Group, has introduced a new high-performance, ultra-compact stone collection: Dekton® Pietra Kode, the vision of renowned designer and architect, Daniel Germani.
Pietra Kode reinterprets the timeless beauty of three classic Italian stones: Vicenza, Travertine and Ceppo di Gré. Each of these antique natural stones has inspired three Dekton® concrete series within the collection, with enhanced technical properties for the world of modern architecture and design. Each colour incorporates contemporary elegance into the design, with the rich shades and textures creating a sensory experience beyond what the eye can see. The carbon-neutral Dekton® surface allows the collection to be used in a virtually limitless range of indoor and outdoor applications, including kitchen and bathroom worktops, flooring, furniture cladding, wall cladding and more.
Pietra Kode marks the third collection developed with designer and architect, Daniel Germani. While Germani’s previous “Industrial” and “Chromica” collections for the brand have been inspired by industrial design, the seven hues that make up Pietra Kode channel the influence of Vicenza stone, travertine, and Milan’s iconic Ceppo di Gré stone on Italian architecture over the centuries.
“For this collection, I spent a lot of time decoding each stone’s history in Italian architecture and reimagined them in a contemporary design with all of the benefits of Dekton,” said Daniel Germani. “Pietra Kode is a collection that showcases luxury in the small, understated details. It’s designed with the future in mind and compliments any space in a way that won’t go out of style.”
Four warm and versatile colours that reinterpret the code of classic Vicenza stone. With neutral, earthy tones and a rich design that flows onto the edges, all coexist in perfect harmony and complement cream, wood, and taupe palettes.
VK01 Nebbia is inspired by the texture of Grigio Alpi, with a fine-grained white creamy base dotted with warm taupe hues.
VK02 Avorio features a light beige shade in an extremely natural finish, inspired by the eponymous Avorio stone, an Italian material characterised by the presence of fossil shells.
VK03 Grigio boasts a gray colour scheme and warm nuances. VK03 Grigio draws its inspiration from Grigio Alpi, made popular by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, who used it in his villas and palaces in the Veneto region. It blends perfectly with creams, woods and taupe colours.
VK04 Grafite combines a mix of black and gray interspersed with whitish and reddish cloud-like patches, channeling the texture of dark, fine-grained limestone.
The series reinterprets the stone out of which Rome was built, made classical art shine and inspired Renaissance architecture. Two elegant designs are full of nuances reminiscent of these classic styles.
TK05 Sabbia reinterprets Italian Travertine, cut with a vein in its thread that flows through the pieces in a disorderly and colourful way, making it perfect for rustic or natural environments.
TK06 Marmorio takes cues from Travertino Navona, the quintessential Roman stone. Its porous striped structure gives an elegant, bright and lightweight look to any design.
It reinterprets the beauty of the Ceppo di Gré stone, often used in architecture in Milan, to design spaces that inspire us and connect us with nature. Like Vicenza Kode, Ceppo Kode also features design along the edges, perfect for particularly exposed applications.
CK07 Ceppo – the distinctive blue-gray multiform structure of the Italian Ceppo di Gré stone inspires this unique colour. It is an unmistakable pebbled pattern that is ideal for both indoors and outdoors, with its timeless design making it a perfect choice for a classic or modern look.

Multi-disciplinary architectural practice, Studio Power has specified Cosentino’s Silestone® in Arcilla Red from the carbon neutral Sunlit Days collection for a freestanding island and matching flooring at its Salford studio. Dekton® Eter has also been selected for the kitchen area worksurfaces and splashback.
“We explored various materials during the design process and felt that the warmth, earthiness and calmness of the Arcilla Red Silestone® was perfect for the studio island unit. We have always aspired to have a sculptural installation and Arcilla Red Silestone® has done just that! Meanwhile, Dekton® Eter has been perfectly combined with the matt charcoal grey kitchen units to achieve a coherent monochromatic backdrop, which acts as a shadow to showcase the Arcilla Red Silestone® installation to its fullest potential,” says Jyh Lee, Architect at Studio Power.
Studio Power specified Silestone® in Arcilla Red for both the kitchen island and flooring. The island is designed in a 12mm thickness and the flooring, 20mm. This carbon neutral material is made from 20% recycled materials and is a fully sustainable choice. Part of the Sunlit Days collection, it’s a deep and earthy red that adds warmth and a statement look to the open-plan space. A hybrid surface of premium minerals, quartz and recycled materials, Silestone® ’s innovative HybriQ+ technology ensures it is also low maintenance with a high resistance to scratches and stains, making it the perfect choice for this busy working studio.
Dekton® Eter in a 12mm thickness was then selected for the kitchen area worksurfaces with an 8mm thickness for the splashbacks. Fabricated by Bolton-based Signature Splashbacks, this innovative ultracompact surface is made from a mix of porcelain, glass and quartz. It’s extremely scratch resistant, stain resistant, fire and heat resistant with high strength and versatility in its application. Along with residential projects of any size, whether kitchen or bathroom worktops and wall cladding, it can also be used for residential building facades, flooring, furniture and shower trays.
Just like Silestone® ’s Sunlit Days collection, Dekton® is also carbon neutral and combines sustainability with safety and energy efficiency. Dekton® has LEED and BREEAM certifications in environmental and sustainable design along with the highest classification in fire resistance. Part of Dekton®’s Natural collection, Eter is a dramatic black and grey-toned surface material with a contemporary look ideal for Studio Power’s kitchen area.

Cosentino Group, global leader in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, presents Dekton® Onirika, the latest collection of its leading innovative ultracompact brand surfaces. Cosentino and international interior design powerhouse, Nina Magon, have come together to create a one-of-a-kind Dekton® collection.
Inspired by marble patterns and immersive living, the stunning series showcases eight daring colours: Awake, Lucid, Somnia, Neural, Trance, Vigil, Daze and Morpheus, that represent the ethos of both brands: sustainability, forward-thinking innovations, and timeless elegance. Onirika represents a powerful journey of a detour in our dreams where boundaries between dreams and reality vanish.
Neural combines elegance and structure to bring peace and joy, calm sensations, and an overall feeling of wellbeing into a space. With fine, pale veins’ crossing the marbled pattern – the design creates a fascinating neural network, which teleports us into a white dream. It is best suited for bright, neutral spaces with soft textures, light colours, and wooden or metallic accents.
Lucid displays many shades, reflections, and glints of colour to create an illuminative perception of colours best combined with wood, grey and gold shades, and frosted glass.
Morpheus – the name of this same Lucid tonality but in Dekton® Velvet Texture finish.
Awake is a re-interpretation of the precious Paonazzo stone. It features thick veins of light greys, exquisite oxide terracotta, and a hint of subtle, inky blues. This iteration pairs beautifully with white, neutral tones, lightwood, and golds of any shade.
Trance features warm fine streaks that move between oxides and fade to reddish gold, combining perfectly with reddish oak wood and darker walnut tones. Blue furniture and warm golds in pale finishing bring sleekness to this vibrant colour.
Somnia boasts captivating details of warm oxid browns and whites that merge under a grid of think lines that create a sober texture. Somnia is perfect with warm dark woods, frosted glass and textured metal surfaces such as copper.
Vigil recreates a strong Calacatta structure with thick veins in gradients of light and dark greys, matched with a subtle touch of gold. This is a classic colour that is easy to combine with warm and cold hues, wood metal, and clean concrete.
Daze – the name of this same Vigil tonality but in Dekton® Velvet texture finish.
Onirika is a collection that unites the poetic and unique beauty of stones harnessed by Dekton® technology, just as those dreams where we observe and vaguely feel in control but only the deepest part of the mind truly understands. The collection is named in honour of the lavish inspiration of the two worlds conveyed in marbled colours to captivate the eyes and bring to any space a feeling that is understood but cannot explained.
“When working with product development team, we realized we’re not attempting to mimic any existing natural stone. With Dekton technology, we can create our own colours and structures, bringing to life something that is unique, beautiful and irreplaceable. The purpose of Onirika is to showcase the versatility of Dekton. We want all designers, architects, and people around the world to see that the product is not only a book matched worktop with a waterfall, but can also be used on walls, ceilings, facades, outdoor spaces, and more”, says Nina Magon.
