HALL 8 is the creative heart of the trade fair
For the very first time, the popular Framing Trends showcase – the communicative and creative heart of the entire show – will occupy the whole of Hall 8. Framing Trends is where the “ATMYSPHERE” keynote theme takes physical form in an array of ingeniously inspired walkthrough presentations, creating a vibrant, electric atmosphere where thought-provoking discussions can take place and new cooperative ventures can emerge. In the Flooring Spaces, NuThinkers and Art & Interaction areas, manufacturers, interior designers, students and artists will showcase their special interpretation of the mega trend Well-Being.
Talks & Tours at DOMOTEX 2020
The Talks program will run from 11 am to 4:30 pm on each of the four days of DOMOTEX. This is a richly varied program of speed presentations followed by discussions on topical issues. The program on Friday is dedicated to the planning methodology known as building information modelling (BIM). On Saturday, the speakers will address social and ecological aspects, while the Sunday program is dedicated to health-promoting home and work environments. SBID’s Founder and CEO, Dr Vanessa Brady OBE will be making an appearance with her talk, Interior Designer Product Selections: Influences and insights for manufacturers on Sunday 12th January at 10.30 am! Finally, Monday’s program is aimed at university students and career-starters – an opportunity for budding young architects and planners to gather information and find answers to their questions on careers and career planning.
Each day of the show, AIT-Dialog will conduct guided Tours for architects, interior designers and experts to gain deeper insights into the keynote theme, discover the products on display and, of course, make contact with exhibitors. Running from 12 to 2 pm and again from 3 to 5 pm each day, the tours will be led by big-name international architects and interior designers. The morning tours will focus on various aspects of the keynote theme, such as healthcare, acoustics, digital technology and sustainability, while the afternoon tours will take in product innovations of interest to the contract flooring sector.
